We are absolutely
sure it will be a great year!
We begin our day with Bible, Prayer
Request and Pledges. What a good way
to get started each day. We also will
do a prayer walk around the school every
Thursday. Please ask your child to
explain this to you and the reason they
chose to participate. (On Mrs. Allen's
behalf, pray for nice weather each
Thursday.)
There will be a Bible Test and a
Bible Verse due each Friday. The weekly Bible verses are in the
back of the student's text book.
Parents be sure to sign weekly.
Math in fifth grade begins with a
review of fourth grade. Still
encourage you child to take their time and
check over their work for mistakes. Be
sure to check your child's text book,
because most of their daily grades will
remain in their text books and composition
books. They will have math homework
each night except on Friday.
Spelling test each Friday.
Homework each night.
Language grades will come from
daily grades and test and quiz grades.
